On July 11th, 2016, I went down to see the ancient Roman bath discovered in York, England. As I was chatting with the curator of the archaeological site upon entry, I noticed you looking at the ancient remains not far off. We were the only two visitors there at the time. I was struck by how beautiful you were! I love ancient Roman history--but I was so absolutely taken back by you that I really wasn't focused on any of the finds! As we both were leaving to go back to the street level, the curator suggested that the pair of us should go to the Yorkshire Museum to see more Roman artifacts. Nervous and shy as I am, I saw you near the entrance up top looking at your map. I did the same. And then I glanced over and saw you smile at me. I froze--I absolutely panicked. I wanted so badly to walk over to you to talk, but I didn't. I have never regretted anything more than that moment. When I looked up again, you had turned the corner. I waited a few moments more, and then decided I had to talk with you. Going around the corner, I was too late. You were gone in the crowds. I went to the museum, praying that you would go there. I went back to the streets of York, hoping to run into you. I truly have never been more heartbroken and upset. You were all I could think about for the rest of my holiday. I am sorry that I wasn't brave at that moment you smiled. Please know that I wanted nothing more than to meet you--but I messed up. I believe in fate--I hope you do, too.

Something they should know?
What is the color of your hair? Do you remember the color of the jacket you wore? What did the curator at the entrance of the Roman Bath give us to hold before we left?
