Who would have guessed ? International Jazz Festival in Montreal, hundreds of people.. Walking around alone, and there you were. Sitting alone near beer bar. "Emmanuel, nice to meet you !", Alicia, what a lovely name! We met just like that... "Hey, not from here too ? I'm from France, and you ?" You came from far northern Ontario, middle of nowhere from what you said. And a short but nice evening started. We had a drink, hung around, listening who was on stage... You had been touched by the story of one of the artists, ex soldier child, and yet singing like that ! I had to go to catch a subway train, you had to leave next morning to go to the mountains. I got lost in your eyes, and yet I couldn't dare ask you out. We had fun guessing each other age, and you surprised me ;) After few hugs, we went our ways, but I regret I didn't stay in the streets with you, having another drink, or just enjoying night life. Knowing we'll probably never meet each other again is sad... Who knows... Where there's life, there is hope :)

Something they should know?
Well... I guess said it all ! You were alone, I came out of nowhere, sat and we talked... French guy here for an internship, 21 year old, liking rock and metal music... You said you couldn't talk French, but your few tries weren't that bad ;) I would be so glad to welcome you in France :) I know it's very unlikely you'll find that message and even more that we meet again, but if you come back to Montreal in the summer, I'd love to here from you !
